Favorite music – book – movie?
Favorites….this is always a difficult question for me to answer. I listen to a very diverse range of music. You can find me listening to anything from Etta James to Neutral Milk Hotel. I am a musician at heart. I am constantly listening to music or creating music. I listen to a lot of oldies and independent music. I enjoy reading works by Donald Miller, CS Lewis and Hemingway. One of my favorite books is probably “The Great Divorce” by CS Lewis or “In My Hands” By Irene Gut Opdyke. My favorite movie would probably be the 1950’s “The Bad Seed” “A Serious Man” or “East of Eden”
Hobbies?
Cooking, crochet, reading, creating music, sewing and crafty stuff in general. I am always trying to conquer a new skill.
Favorite Scripture?
There are a few but this is one I keep coming back to “For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!” Galatians 2:19-21
